This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our software, website, and services, including our integrations with third-party platforms like Google, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and X (Twitter).

1. Information We Collect

To provide our local business management and marketing services, we collect the following types of data:

A. Information You Provide

  • Account Information: Name, email address, phone number, and business details provided during registration or invoicing.
  • Business Content: Images, menus, post captions, and other marketing materials you upload to our system for distribution.

B. Information from Third-Party APIs (Social Media)

When you connect your social media accounts (Google Business Profile, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X) to Lifto.ai, we access information via their APIs. This includes:

  • Profile Data: Business name, avatar/logo, and account IDs.
  • Analytics Data: Impressions, clicks, and engagement metrics (where permitted by the platform).
  • Access Tokens: Secure credentials that allow our software to post content on your behalf.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your data solely to provide the Lifto.ai services you have requested:

  1. Service Provision: To schedule and publish posts, manage channel inventory, and update business listings across multiple platforms simultaneously.
  2. Automation: To process data through our software (including Telegram bot interactions and proprietary algorithms) to automate your marketing workflows.
  3. Communication: To send you invoices, service updates, or security alerts.

We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

3. Third-Party Platform Terms (API Disclosures)

Our service interacts with third-party platforms. By using these integrations, you acknowledge that your data is also subject to their respective privacy policies.

A. Google API Services (Limited Use Disclosure)

Lifto.ai's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

  • What we access: We access your Google Business Profile data (locations, reviews, posts) only to enable you to manage your presence from our dashboard.
  • No unauthorized sharing: We do not share your Google user data with AI models or third parties for advertising purposes.

B. Meta (Facebook & Instagram)

  • Data Usage: We use Meta APIs to publish content and retrieve engagement statistics for your connected pages.
  • Data Deletion: In compliance with Meta's Platform Terms, you may request the deletion of your Facebook/Instagram data stored on our servers at any time (see Section 6, and our Data Deletion Instructions).

C. LinkedIn

  • Data Retention: We adhere to LinkedIn's retention policies. Authenticated member profile data is cached only as permitted (typically refreshed or deleted within specific timeframes as required by the LinkedIn API Terms).

D. X (Twitter)

  • Content Rights: Any content you post to X via Lifto.ai remains your property, but by posting, you grant X the standard license required by their User Agreement.

4. Cookies and Website Tracking

This section covers lifto.ai the website, not the Lifto.ai product. Nothing that sets a cookie or an advertising identifier loads on this website until you choose to allow it.

A. What runs before you choose

  • Our own analytics: a first-party measurement script that sets no cookies. It records page views, scroll depth and clicks against an anonymous id held in sessionStorage, which is discarded when you close the tab. It collects no personal information.
  • Cloudflare Web Analytics: aggregate traffic and page performance. It is cookieless and does not identify or track individual visitors.

B. What runs only after you accept

Choosing Accept on the banner loads the following, all of which set cookies and can be used for advertising measurement and audience building:

  • Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads conversion tracking, for understanding which campaigns produce enquiries.
  • Meta Pixel (Facebook and Instagram) and the LinkedIn Insight Tag, for measuring ad performance and building audiences.
  • Microsoft Clarity, for heatmaps and session replay of activity on this website.

C. Your choice, and how to change it

  • Reject turns off everything described above and also switches off our own first-party analytics. Nothing is loaded and no measurement is recorded.
  • We do not sell your data and we do not use these tools to build profiles for anyone else.
  • Your decision is stored in your browser's local storage under le_consent. It is not a cookie and it is never sent to us.
  • To change your mind, clear this site's data in your browser settings. The banner will appear again on your next visit.

Visitors with JavaScript disabled are never tracked by any of the above, because none of it can run.

5. Data Retention

We retain your personal and business data only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy.

  • Active Accounts: We keep your data while your account is active to provide services.
  • Invoicing Data: We retain billing information (e.g., LocalEnhance LLC, Tony Hildén) for tax and accounting purposes as required by applicable law.
  • API Data: Data fetched from third-party APIs is retained only as long as your connection is active and in compliance with the specific cache/storage limits of those providers.

6. Data Deletion Instructions (User Rights)

You have the right to request the deletion of your personal data.

How to Request Deletion:

  1. Email: Send a request to [email protected] with the subject line "Data Deletion Request".
  2. Verification: We may ask for proof of account ownership.
  3. Execution: Upon verification, we will remove your account and associated data from our servers within 30 days, except for data we are required to keep by law (e.g., tax records).

7. Security

We use industry-standard security measures, including Google Workspace for internal data management and secure API protocols (OAuth 2.0), to protect your information. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. However, our commitment to the Limited Use of your data and compliance with third-party API terms remains constant. We advise you to review this page periodically for any changes.
